‘I am home’ is a science-fiction-poem about a simulation going through different stages of self-conceptualisation.
We were invited to Bulgaria to work together with EXE and Stratospheric on something extraordinary. As part of the launch for a new club in Sofia, EXE wanted to release a short film that touched upon the social aspects of their brand. The abstract story we created revolves around a female simulation that goes through various stages of self-conceptualisation and identification. From the very basic act of recognising her own body to the complex analysis of social identity. ‘I am home’ is ultimately a first glimpse at what is going to be a new home in Sofia, built by a very inspiring group of people.
Everything in the film was shot over the course of 8 days in Bulgaria with a crew of 4 people.
